I worked for the weekly television program “Utopics”, broadcasted on RTV Utrecht. The program focused on the multicultural society in the Utrecht municipality and its surroundings. My main expertise was working on human interest segments [mostly portraits], and segments about culture and art.

Compilation of a series of portraits about ‘nachtbrakers’: people working at night.

My role was from conception to final product. I would pre-research segments myself, do follow-up, create rapport with subjects, and schedule and produce shooting days. Depending on the complexity of the segments I would either self-shoot, or work in a small crew of max. three people. Editing in Final Cut Pro.
