I worked for Film and Media studies as a practical lecturer.

I designed, taught, and assessed different courses/modules.

In the Practicum Video course I helped students to further develop their theoretical and practical insight and skills in the field of media creation and production. Subjects incorporated in the course include directing, script writing and development, camera work, and editing – for both fiction and documentary projects. Part of the course was mentoring and coaching students’ projects, short fiction films and documentaries.

In the Theater- en Mediadramaturgie (Theatre- and Mediadramaturgy) course, I co-guided students to get a thorough orientation on working in the field of theatre or audiovisual media as a ‘dramaturg’ (story developer/script editor/development executive). I further broadened the scope of the course to include creative producing as well.

I mentored students’ internships at companies active in media creation and production.

And I develop other practical courses.
